As part of your financial aid package (although some positions are non-needs based) you might be able to find a work study job that allows you to get paid to study. Each semester, your school has paid work-study positions to fill which may potentially allow you to be a computer lab assistant, work behind the desk at the college library, or become a clerical assistant for an academic department.
Did you know, you can earn money by posting videos on Youtube? This happens when you have reached a certain number of 'views'. A lot of youtubers started their channel with basic DIY or review videos and marketed them properly. The channel picks up if your content is interesting and original and after substantial promotions. Being surrounded by hundreds of people in college to spread a positive word of mouth is surely an advantage which can advance your channel.
Our world has evolved in such a way that with each passing day, the race for earning more and more money becomes more and important. Other walks of life are being neglected in this race. In such an environment, every dime comes in handy. Recently, we have seen a general trend of people looking for alternative, part-time jobs. Most of them are teenagers. Being able to sustain yourself is considered ideal. For students, being able to afford their college fee by themselves is respectable. There is nothing wrong with students trying to earn money, so long as it doesn’t affect their academics. In fact, it builds a productive and positive attitude in students, and teaches them the value of money.
Along the same lines as trivia, you can get paid for just using your mobile phone and allowing companies to know what you're doing on it. For example, Nielson Mobile Panel is an app that you can earn rewards on just for having it installed. It will take snapshots of what you're doing and use those for advertisers to know more about your demographic. It takes away some privacy, but you get paid for it.

There are various ways students can earn money to at least generate their own pocket-money. We have already written a few posts about this in the past. So this post is a round-up of some of the old, as well as new methods you can earn money online while studying. This does not apply only to students, but also to house wives or other unemployed people who want to earn some money.

These part-time positions are only available to college students. Beyond that, no specific experience is required, but students studying nursing, medicine or psychology get bonus points. Other requirements for Papa Pals include a reliable four-door car and appropriate car insurance. All applicants must be able to pass a thorough background check, and the approval process takes between two and 10 business days.

Creating Gigs on sites like Fiverr is a great way to get your freelancing career started. A gig is something you can do well, and are willing to do it for other people. For example doing programming assignments for somebody, making good quality sketches for somebody, etc. It could be anything! Indeed, if you head over to Fiverr right now, you’ll see a wild assortment of some of the craziest things people are willing to do! On Fiverr, you get $4 per job, which isn’t much. But there are ways to earn more than just that. Aside from Fiverr, there are other many alternatives, many of which pay more than $4. So if you can’t seem to sell your gigs at Fiverr, then try your luck at something else!

Reselling textbooks — This is a great way to bring in some money. When you’re done with a textbook, see how much it’s going for online. You can even compare that price to what the booksellers on and around campus are offering, and see which one gets you the best deal. (Buying used textbooks online is also a great way to keep more money in your pocket each semester!)

Do you enjoy fast food or going into retail shops? Many companies hire mystery shoppers to test the customer service of their stores. A common one is Subway, which hires mystery shoppers to ensure that "Sandwich Artists" are following all the franchise guidelines. If you have time and can travel to different places, this could be a good side hustle.

If you're an artist, and consistently create paintings, drawings, computer animations, or anything else visual, you could sell your artwork online on a site like Deviant Art. Deviant Art allows users to upload images, and they can elect to sell those images as prints or even special projects like mouse pads and more. Whenever an item sells, the artist will receive 20% of the purchase price. Higher membership levels earn higher royalties.
You’re responsible, compassionate, and don’t mind giving up your Friday and Saturday nights: you could make a great baby or dog or house sitter. Though there are professional websites and agencies out there you could join, you may have luck volunteering your services to friends or family you already know. (Per usual, be wary of taking money from strangers...) And why not offer to wash the dishes or fold the laundry for an extra $10?
BigSpot.com is an easy way to earn some money on the spot by reviewing products. If you have a car, let people rent it or sign up as an Uber Driver in your free time. Vancouver is pretty busy and one of Canada's largest cities, so no doubt there will be quite a bit of Uber users. Task Rabbit is another way: depending on your location, it sends you on a lot of tasks (for example, Walmart sends you to take photos of their products, etc.) Fiverr gives you five bucks for doing certain tasks: like, writing a love letter, or attempting to eat wasabi. Field Agent pays you to check prices.
