Busy professionals outsource their laundry more often than you would think. If you live in a dorm or apartment building, you could offer to start a laundry service for all your friends and neighbors. Instead of them having to make their own trip to the laundromat, you could combine their trip with yours, and charge them a small fee for it. Considering you do laundry each week, this could be a great recurring revenue stream.

A lot of students choose to use their art for earning money. If you are good at arts and crafts, you can sell handmade, customized cards to people. You will find a large customer base in your college itself and you can use college events to exploit the option. Keep track of events like valentine's day, prom night and teachers day and approach different colleges to allow you to put your stall which will maximize your sale.

Whether you’re giving feedback after watching some commercials or letting people study your brainwaves while you sleep, there are scores of social and medical researchers out there that welcome college students with open arms. That’s not to say you should embrace every opportunity, but new products need testers and there are plenty of low-level trials you can participate in. Start with the US government’s official clinical trial website, then try contacting local hospitals or companies directly. And college campuses are often full of students and professors hosting research, so look on your school’s website for these opportunities too. Word to the wise: if you earn more than $600 in your clinical trial adventures, you'll need to declare your earnings on your taxes. Also keep in mind that as the payment goes up, so too will the commitment—as well as the potential risk.

Have you ever seen those roadside stands around Valentine's Day and Mother's Day? You know, the ones selling flowers and treats? Well, that could be you. As a college student, just head down to Costco and buy some flowers and holiday candy. Then, get permission to setup a stand near a busy intersection or on the side of a road. You'll double or triple your initial investment every holiday.

Network Marketing is somehow relating to affiliate and digital marketing, a flexible way of earning money by getting more and more attention and people involved to the same. This is one type of a business, which requires a network to be formed betwixt various people involved in the same. There is a low upfront investment involved, for the purpose of registration or buying certain product sample. The criterion is to make your contacts and sell the product but some people actually compensate more participants to the network and hence get paid for it. Most of the revenue comes from recruiting new participants. But before joining any Referral Marketing Company do check its legal papers and working process because there are many people who are running fraud companies under the shed of Referral Marketing as suggested by Lokesh Tanwar founder of Business Alligators.

If you live off campus and have a yard or can get permission from your school to use communal open space, organize a yard sale with your friends and roommates, maybe even your dorm community. Use the cash to throw a “Yard Sales are Awesome!” party. Realize you spent all your money on the party. Repeat as needed or until you run out of stuff to sell.

These part-time positions are only available to college students. As for other tips, all I can say is “a penny saved is a penny earned”. If you are running out of ideas to make money, start saving. Some quick “low hanging fruit” tips to save some quick cash include – switch to MetroPCS or Boost for cellphone (I only pay $20/month), switch auto insurance to Insurance Panda ($25/month), and start using GasBuddy (saves me like $100/month at least. I drive a lot).
Everyone in this world has craving for some special food. And when you are young then definitely you will have more cravings. This can be a good money making opportunity. What you need to do is researching on what food is not sold in the cafeteria and then offer it to your classmates. There are various ways students can earn money to at least generate their own pocket-money. We have already written a few posts about this in the past. So this post is a round-up of some of the old, as well as new methods you can earn money online while studying. This does not apply only to students, but also to house wives or other unemployed people who want to earn some money.

One of the most profitable way to earn money is by creating a blog or a website, and monetizing. There are lots of ways you can earn money trough your website. This is an extremely huge topic, and I could literally write books on it. But in short, you can earn mainly through advertising. Google AdSense is one of the best advertising networks out there, and if you put up ads on our blog, you’ll get some money each time someone clicks on your ad. Learn more about earning money through Google AdSense. If you don’t want to create a blog or website, there are other ways to earn money without having a website.
That’s my plan. No kids, no spouse, parents deceased. I’ll never be able to retire. On PSLF, but forgiveness not approved until 120th payment. Many are not being forgiven now. I take courses to stay in deferment. FedLoan bases payment on gross; not net. How does that make any sense?! After bills I can’t afford the payment. I have 3 grad degrees. Was supposed to be a psychologist. APA & NCE won’t accept my 15yo degrees for the national exam. So I teach at a CC. Over 180,000 in debt now and it grows monthly.

Institutes keep conducting researches on a regular basis and need people to take part in them. While some might not pay you, others may. These researches are easy and require you to answer basic questions which help them understand a concept better and come to a conclusion. It's always good to have a big study area so there is always a demand for people. You can also go for college experiments conducted by departments like psychology and earn money.
Creating Gigs on sites like Fiverr is a great way to get your freelancing career started. A gig is something you can do well, and are willing to do it for other people. For example doing programming assignments for somebody, making good quality sketches for somebody, etc. It could be anything! Indeed, if you head over to Fiverr right now, you’ll see a wild assortment of some of the craziest things people are willing to do! On Fiverr, you get $4 per job, which isn’t much. But there are ways to earn more than just that. Aside from Fiverr, there are other many alternatives, many of which pay more than $4. So if you can’t seem to sell your gigs at Fiverr, then try your luck at something else!
Direct sales — Last but not least, direct sales can be a great way to make some extra money as a college student. These companies often have minimum sales goals, but a lot of them are very doable minimums every three or six months, so the burden isn’t too heavy even when you’ve got a busy semester. The key is to find a direct sales company selling something you absolutely love, can afford, and want to share. The good news is that there are tons and tons of direct sales companies, so you can go into it selling just about anything. Stella & Dot is one of my favorites.

Being a Loan Signing Agent is a great side hustle because you can make $75 to $200 per hour-long appointment working for yourself on your own schedule. Retired people, working professionals, and students can be signing agents and earn extra cash when they want. The best part is you need nothing more than a notary commission (which can often be attained by simply filling out an application)!
Cold calling still exists, and businesses are always looking for people willing to man the phones and make calls. Many companies hire this in-house, but there are also firms that hire telemarking professionals to man phones as well (especially around election time). If you don't mind being on the phone for several hours and getting hung up on often, this is a good job for college students.
Talking about another example here, a senior of mine in some other college had some financial trouble at home. Paying the college fee was somehow, becoming arduous hence, he thought of a way to teach youngsters piano, which he had learned 5 years before. In his after college hours, he gave lessons which earned him 700 per students. Within a month 20 students enrolled in his classes.
You can apply for online internship for content writing, proof reading and designing. There are people looking for candidates just like you and these are not very technical fields so you can easily do these things after college hours and make money while doing something you enjoy. Keep looking for internships on various websites and look for 'freelancer' option. Clear things out about your timing and number of articles or designs with the employer before starting the work.
Are you a good teacher? Do you have an area of expertise that you teach or help others in already? You could create an online course around that topic and sell it. Sites like Udemy allow anyone to create an online course and then sell it through their platform. There are courses for everything, so don't worry if you think that your topic is too obscure.
