Everyone in this world has craving for some special food. And when you are young then definitely you will have more cravings. This can be a good money making opportunity. What you need to do is researching on what food is not sold in the cafeteria and then offer it to your classmates. You and all five of your roommates have a not-so-healthy love of Mountain Dew. First, maybe switch to diet? Second, turn all those empties into a healthy chunk of change by bringing (rinsed!) cans and bottles to your local recycling center. Search for freelance writing and editing gigs. The rates for these jobs vary: you may be paid by the word, be offered a flat rate for a project, or in some cases can be paid an hourly rate. You typically won't be able to retain copyright over your work or collect royalties, however. Even so, by doing freelance work you can build a portfolio and make valuable connections which may later pay off with more stable job opportunities.
