Institutes keep conducting researches on a regular basis and need people to take part in them. While some might not pay you, others may. These researches are easy and require you to answer basic questions which help them understand a concept better and come to a conclusion. It's always good to have a big study area so there is always a demand for people. You can also go for college experiments conducted by departments like psychology and earn money.
Barter your services with friends. Do you spend more than you'd like getting your hair and nails done each month? Do you have a friend who can't resist the pastries at the coffee shop or who pays for a personal trainer? Think about what both you and your friends spend money on, and then see if there's a way for you to barter and trade services with each other in order to save money.
This kind of work is executed in almost every city, and we call them ‘retail shops’. So, here we will come up with the same in our college, a tip for this is; ‘wholesale market’. Buy a bulk of stationery or any other stuff you think that can be used in your college and would be of major use to the fellow survivors, and sell it for the market price or a little less if it brings profit.
Similar to investing, peer-to-peer lending is where you loan money to someone else, and they pay you back with interest. The great thing about peer-to-peer lending is that you can lend as little as $25, and your loan will get bundled into a bigger loan for the borrower. Each month, they'll pay you back principal and interest. You can snowball this initial investment into many investments because you get your principal back as well each month. Many lenders earn over 5%-7% on their investments. Check out Lending Club to get started.
Along the same lines as donating plasma, young and healthy adults could donate their sperm or eggs for money. Donating sperm doesn't command much, but it can be a small supplement to your income. On the other hand, donating your eggs could earn you anywhere from $10,000 to $15,000. However, there's work involved in the process, and it's not painless.
Another popular site to earn money doing gigs is Amazon's Mechanical Turk. You get paid a very small amount per gig (sometimes as low as $0.05) but you can do these tasks very quickly. For example, you could be asked to identify a picture or type certain text. When I was in college, I used to do these gigs in class and earn money while taking notes.
Selling notes — If you take great notes in class — or you want to get better at taking great notes — look into StudySoup. This is a website that pays you for your class notes and study guides. The perks of this site are two-fold — by putting together great notes and study guides, you’ll be learning your course material even better, AND you can get paid to do it! If StudySoup isn’t available for your college, there’s still nothing stopping you from selling your notes to classmates directly, too.
